Melbourne based DJ and producer Sistym draws inspiration from the UK roots of drum & bass, dubstep and sound system culture. Built on driving pressure, groove and low end weight, her journey led sets weave together modern, forward thinking drum & bass and dubstep with timeless classics, distinctive MC vocals and her own edits, putting a fresh twist on familiar tracks and making them uniquely her own. No two sets are ever the same, with each one shaped by the energy in the room while always staying true to the roots, culture and foundations on which the music was built.

Alongside her work as a DJ and producer, Sistym is the founder of Midnight Request, an events brand dedicated to bringing quality bass music to Melbourne. With a focus on respected artists whose music has stood the test of time and continues to shape the scene, the brand is built on one simple philosophy: put great music first.
 

Her dedication to the craft has seen her share lineups with industry heavyweights including Andy C, Alix Perez and S.P.Y., and perform at festivals including Northern Bass, Locus Bali, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Esoteric and Earth Frequency, as well as Bladerunnaz in Budapest
 

Following her selection for the 2023 Overview Music & Dynamics producer mentorship, Sistym released her debut release Eyes Open / Fever Dream on 8Ball Audio. She has since released music on New Forms, with her productions receiving national radio support on Triple J, cementing her reputation as one of Australia's emerging bass music producers.
